Alan Brigish
Alan Brigish is a South African-born executive and entrepreneur, photographer, and author who has lived in the USA for almost 50 years. He has a degree in electronic engineering and is a pioneer in the early days of technology and online computing.
In 2000, Brigish embarked on a personal quest to unravel the mysteries of his European heritage, stumbling upon a previously unknown disclosure that completely changed the origin of his bloodline. Over the next 20 years, Brigish delved into extensive ancestral exploration that culminates in a forthcoming book, The Kovno Legacy, Surrendering to Synchronicity, written by his wife, Theresa Lundquist. The book not only tells his unusual ancestral story, but it also takes the reader on countless adventures, uncommon experiences, and to rare insights that span more than 200 years.
Brigish is a published author and photographer of five books. He has won several awards for his work, including first place in the Photography Category at the 2011 Annual DIY Book Festival in Los Angeles. He has also collaborated with renowned Vineyard storyteller Susan Klein on several publications, including Martha’s Vineyard: Now and Zen.
It has been a long-cherished desire for Brigish to share the insights and experiences of his life in a book for the benefit of his grandchildren, with the hope of inspiring future generations to reflect on their own lives and those of their ancestors.

These are woven into a concise narrative which takes the reader through the Society's history from 1858.
