Alan Brigish
Alan Brigish is a South African-born author, photographer, and information expert who has lived in the USA for over 48 years. He has a degree in electronic engineering and undertook pioneering work in the earliest days of online information.
In 2000, Brigish embarked on a personal quest to unravel the mysteries of his European heritage, stumbling upon a previously unknown disclosure that completely changed the origin of his bloodline. Over the next 20 years, Brigish delved into extensive ancestral exploration that culminates in a forthcoming book, The Kovno Legacy, Surrendering to Synchronicity, written by his wife, Theresa Lundquist. The book not only tells his unusual ancestral story, but it also takes the reader on countless adventures, uncommon experiences, and to rare insights that span more than 200 years.
Brigish is a published author and photographer of five books. He has won several awards for his work, including first place in the Photography Category at the 2011 Annual DIY Book Festival in Los Angeles. He has also collaborated with renowned Vineyard storyteller Susan Klein on several publications, including Martha’s Vineyard: Now and Zen.
It has been a life goal for Brigish to have a book written that shares his life’s insights and experiences for the benefit of his grandchildren, and their children, with the hope to inspire future generations to reflect on their own lives and those of their ancestors. His enduring legacy will inspire a large genre of readers who seek deeper meaning in their lives by asking thought-provoking questions about the nature of synchronicity and how to embrace its purpose in our lives. The Kovno Legacy is certain to leave the reader with hope, renewed energy, and optimism.

Eye Contact tells a story of India in the past, present and future through the faces of its people. In the past, the country has been famous for its faiths and tolerance. Today, things are changing. The story is one of surviving and attempting to prosper in the here and now as the country becomes an emerging superpower.
And, tomorrow will be vastly different still - far better for many but not for everyone. The faces suggest the sweep of it all. -
Limited Edition Photo-Documentary Book Captures the Daily life of People in Four Countries of Indochina. 100% of the proceeds from this book are donated to hand-picked educational projects in South EastAsia. The book's luminous images and extended captions tell two parallel stories: The first explores daily life of predominantly Buddhist people in three cities, one each in the countries of Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, and reflects the author's extensive travels in Burma (Myanmar). The second story is the author's exploration of the Buddha's teachings and how they impact on people's lives.

Martha’s Vineyard was once a little-known haven. As with many lovely places, increased popularity preceded rapid growth (sometimes mistakenly perceived as progress) which has challenged the Island’s people and natural resources. The Island, though transformed, is still a stunning place. This book is a look at our values, our treasures lost, the traditions we are proud to carry forward, and the spirited communities that make up the Island. Martha’s Vineyard – Now & Zen was created as much for the first-time visitor as for the Island-born, as much for those who have been vacationing here for generations as for those who live here year-round, as much for those who fish and sail and swim through summer as for those who walk the beach in snow.

Bountiful is a celebration of family, continuity, and tradition on Martha's Vineyard. Agricultural life is depicted through hundreds of photographs and information gleaned from Fair premium books first printed in 1865, a century and a half of newspaper articles, and interviews and additional excerpts from oral histories. These are woven into a concise narrative which takes the reader through the Society's history from 1858.
This beautiful, award-winning book features the photography of Alan Brigish and is written by local author Susan Klein. It contains many vintage, cited historical photos.
