SYNCHRONICITY

“Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.”

Before I invite you into the story of the Kovno Legacy, I want to share the quiet force that has shaped my path: synchronicity.

Synchronicity is a term coined by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung in the early 20th century. It refers to the meaningful coincidences that occur without causal relationship, yet they seem to be meaningfully connected. In simple terms, synchronicity describes circumstances that are aligned with one another in a way that goes beyond mere chance.

Synchronicity is the uncanny feeling when life aligns in ways too perfect to be random. You think of someone, and they suddenly call. You stumble into the right place at the right moment, and everything shifts. Coincidence? You might think so. So often these moments feel like gentle nudges from something greater, as if supernatural guidance is directing your steps and decisions. Jung believed these events weren’t just luck, but part of a deeper universal order—unus mundus, one world, where our inner experiences align with the outer world.

For me, synchronicity has been both compass and companion, guiding my choices and connecting me to something beyond logic or reason. My life has been shaped by countless coincidences that have guided me away from the mainstream and into the unknown. Sometimes it requires trust, like taking a leap of faith. Other times, what arrives comes with such certainty that I am able to fully trust what is unfolding.

I believe this same force shaped the lives of my ancestors. In their stories, and mine, you’ll see how synchronicity sparked transformation, passed down like memory in our DNA. These moments aren’t accidents. They arrived as guidance, whispering connection, purpose, and legacy.

If I leave behind anything of value, let it be this: a life lived wide open to the mystery, wonder, and magic of synchronicity.
