Lithuania Today
In 2002, I traveled to Lithuania, the ancient homeland where all four of my grandparents were born.
I was keen to discover my grandparents’ homeland to see firsthand where they lived and where our roots began. At last I would connect to the land that held my unique family story—the place where my stories began.
Looking back, for me it was a search for more of my own identity.
