MANDELA WITH THE BRIGISH FAMILY
In 1992 shortly after being released from prison, Nelson Mandela and my father Harry were reunited at a gathering arranged for anti-Apartheid activists. Mandela had worked for my father as a law clerk in 1950.
In 1999, while still president of South Africa, President Mandela visited my father and mother to express his appreciation for my father’s willingness to employ him forty-two years previously.
